Welcome to Learn to Ride and Horsemanship Summer Camp at Annaleigh Acres - More Than Just a Day Camp

Nestled on ten picturesque acres in the heart of Brock Township (Cannington, Ontario), Annaleigh Acres offers a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience where kids connect, grow, and thrive, alongside our incredible horses.

Each day is filled with horseback riding lessons and hands-on horse experiences to develop both early horsemanship skills while also developing important personal skills.  In downtime away from the horses, group games, scavenger hunts, theme days, water play, creative activities, and plenty of time outdoors enjoying farm life fill up the day. It’s a fun, active, and meaningful way to spend summer days.

Our camp is led by Alikee Beach (a certified Elementary School Teacher, Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator, and Equestrian Canada Certified Riding Instructor), alongside Kate Hoover, a university graduate currently completing Teacher’s College at Trent University. With the support of our dedicated team of teen counsellors, we maintain a small camper-to-staff ratio to ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for every child.

What Makes Our Camp Different

At Annaleigh Acres, horses are more than something to ride, they are powerful teachers.

Through guided, hands-on activities with our horses, campers build:

  • confidence and self-awareness
  • leadership and teamwork skills
  • communication and problem-solving abilities
  • resilience and creative thinking

In addition to a formal riding lesson, campers have opportunities to work alongside horses on the ground, learning how to connect, communicate, and grow, skills that carry far beyond the farm.
